This Privacy Policy describes how Advance Pest Control Corporation ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when using the APC (Advance Pest Control) mobile application ("App").

1. App Overview

APC is an internal operational tool used by Advance Pest Control Corporation staff. The App facilitates the assignment of pest control tasks to technicians and synchronizes these tasks with Google services to ensure efficient field operations and scheduling. Access is restricted to authorized employees.

2. Information We Collect via Google Services

Our App requests access to specific Google User Data to perform core business functions:

Google Profile & Identity

Full Name and Email Address: Used to verify your employee identity and personalize your technician dashboard.
Profile Photo: Used for internal identification within the App's user interface.

Google Calendar Data (Restricted/Sensitive Scope)

Read, Create, and Update Access: We access your Google Calendar to synchronize pest control service appointments. The App creates events for assigned jobs, updates them if schedules change, and removes them if a task is canceled. This ensures technicians have an up-to-date work schedule.

3. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

APC's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes, nor do we sell this data to third parties. We only share data with third parties when it is strictly necessary to provide or improve the App's internal features for our organization.

4. Location Information

With your explicit consent, we collect your device’s location to monitor field activity:

Foreground & Background Location: Collected only while the technician has "Live Tracking" active. This is used for route optimization, safety monitoring, and verifying arrival at service locations.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We use the following services which may process your data according to their own privacy standards:

Firebase: For secure authentication and push notifications.
Google Maps API: To visualize service routes and technician locations.

6. Data Security and Retention

All data is transmitted via secure HTTPS protocols. We retain work-related logs and calendar data only for the duration of your employment or as required for organizational record-keeping.
